Whitley Suite – Day Reception
The Whitley Suite has been redesigned to create a space that is both stylish and functional whist still retaining that “Whitley Charm”. It comes complete with brand new flooring, a state of the art lighting system that can be colour matched to compliment your wedding theme and the windows extended wall-to-wall to flood the room with natural daylight.
Following feedback from our wedding couples over the years, the shape of the room has been converted to create a more accommodating space which will enable all of your guests to see the top table during your wedding breakfast and fully immerse themselves in your special day. The backdrop to your top table will be an area that has been created with a country garden feel in mind and provides an elegant view for your guests to enjoy.
The new suite also benefits from a fully incorporated PA system for use during speeches and background music as well as a complete fresh air system and is air-conditioned throughout for those hot summer days.
Whitley Suite – Evening Reception
For your evening celebrations the room takes on a more informal feel. The mood lighting and built-in disco lights take effect and transform the room to create an atmosphere that will really help to get the party started. With a brand new bespoke function bar and a dance floor area that can be as large or as small as you like, every consideration has been given to create a space where you and your guests can drink and dance the night away to give that perfect ending to the perfect day.
For that bit of added sparkle, don’t forget that our twinkle dance floor is available for hire from our venue styling team.
Outdoor Ceremony Area
We are incredibly excited to now be able to offer our Whitley Suite couples the option of having their ceremony outside (fingers crossed for sunshine!). Our unique folly has been designed and built to enable couples to exchange their vows in front of their family and friends with our beautifully landscaped gardens as the backdrop. The folly and surrounding area come complete with a PA system to ensure that all guests don’t miss the magical moment when you say “I do”.
This amazing area can be reserved exclusively for you and your guests for a fee. As we all know, the great British weather can be unpredictable so if your ceremony is unable to take place outside we will refund 50% of this cost.
Outside Bar & Terrace
The refurbishment wouldn’t be complete without giving our already stunning gardens an overhaul. Immediately outside your function room we have created a winding pathway that leads directly on to your own private terrace area complete with ambient lighting and speakers. As a final added touch we have built a rustic themed outside bar which you will have the option to add to your package for a small fee.
So whether your guests choose to soak up the atmosphere indoors or out they will always be encompassed within your celebrations.
The Elliott Lounge
As part of the renovations the Elliott Suite has undergone its own transformation.
With its dark wooden panelling, stone fireplace and original lead windows the Elliott Lounge is the perfect place for those wanting a quieter area to chat and catch up in a relaxing, comfortable setting whilst being a stones throw away from all the action.
