Picture & Wordsworth Rooms
These two rooms are steeped in history and this is unmistakeable from the moment you step through their doors. Mary Queen of Scots is reported to have spent the night here during her detention at Sheffield castle and did allegedly commission the ceiling which is still in situ today in the Picture Room. These rooms overlook the main courtyard of the hotel and boast stunning views across our extensive gardens from their original sash windows.
These tranquil wood panelled rooms are licenced for civil ceremonies of up to 20 people. You can then dine in style around a banquet table with your nearest and dearest family and friends amidst the backdrop of our beautiful 16thcentury manor house.
